Mattress Sets

There are a few different types of mattress sets out there. Not all of them are created equal, however. Innerspring, latex, memory foam, and adjustable air are all types of mattresses that one could purchase. They range greatly in price and comfort levels. Innerspring mattresses have springs that help support your body weight and distribute it evenly. This type of mattress is usually cheaper than the others but doesn't provide as much comfort.

Latex mattresses have a latex foam core that contours to your body shape and provides pressure relief. This type of mattress is more expensive than an innerspring mattress but is still a lot cheaper than a memory foam mattress.

Memory foam mattresses have a layer of memory foam that contours to your body shape and provides pressure relief. This type of mattress is the most expensive but also the most comfortable.

Adjustable air mattresses have an air chamber that you can adjust to your desired level of firmness. This type of mattress is less expensive than a memory foam mattress but more expensive than an innerspring mattress. It's also not as comfortable as a memory foam mattress but more comfortable than an innerspring mattress.

So, when it comes to purchasing a new mattress set, there are a few things to keep in mind. Curly's Furniture has a great selection of all types of mattress sets at the best prices around!

Mattress Adjustable Bases

The adjustable base is a great way to get the most out of your mattress set. It allows you to adjust the head and foot of the mattress to your desired position. This is great for watching TV, reading, or working on your laptop in bed. It's also great for relieving back pain or just getting a good night's sleep.

If you're looking for a new mattress, you might be wondering what all the fuss is about adjustable bases. To be honest, they're not for everyone. But if you're looking for a little extra comfort, or if you have certain medical conditions that require a higher level of support, an adjustable base can be a game-changer. Here's a quick rundown of some of the benefits:

First, adjustable bases let you raise and lower the head and foot of the mattress, so you can find the perfect position for reading, watching TV, or just relaxing. Second, they can provide relief from certain medical conditions like GERD and sleep apnea. Third, they can help with circulation issues by elevating your feet above your heart. And fourth, they just plain feel good! If you've ever slept in an adjustable bed, you know what we're talking about. So if you're in the market for a new mattress, don't rule out an adjustable base - it might just be the best decision you ever make.

How to Know Which Mattress Is The Best Choice for You?

Trying to figure out which mattress is the best choice for you can feel like a daunting task. With so many different brands, materials, and firmness levels to choose from, how can you possibly know which one is right for you? Thankfully, there are a few foolproof ways to narrow down your options and make sure you find the perfect mattress for your needs.

One of the most important things to consider is what type of sleeper you are. Are you a side sleeper? Back sleeper? Stomach sleeper? This will largely dictate the level of firmness you need in your mattress. For instance, side sleepers typically need a softer mattress to accommodate their hips and shoulders, while stomach sleepers need a firmer mattress to prevent them from sinking too deeply into the bed.

Another important factor to consider is your budget. Just because a mattress is expensive doesn't necessarily mean it's the best option for you. In fact, there are plenty of high-quality mattresses available at more affordable price points. It's all about finding the right balance of quality and price that fits your needs.

Finally, be sure to read reviews before making your purchase. This will give you a good idea of what other people have liked or disliked about a particular mattress. Just keep in mind that everyone's sleep needs are different, so take the reviews with a grain of salt and use them as one piece of the puzzle in finding your perfect mattress.

Now that you know a few things to look for, it's time to start shopping! Curly's Furniture has a great selection of mattresses at all different price points, so you're sure to find something that fits your needs. Come in today and start sleeping better tonight!

4 Ways to Make Your Mattress Last Longer

Getting a good night’s sleep is important for your health and your overall well-being. In order to get a good seven or eight hours of shut-eye, you need to have a comfortable and supportive mattress you can rely on. At Curly’s Furniture, we sell mattresses from trusted brands including Sealy, Tempur-Pedic, Ashley Sleep, and more. These high-quality mattresses can last 8, 10, or even 12 years when treated with the proper care. Here are a few helpful tips that will help you protect your investment and ensure your mattress lasts for many years to come.

     1.  Rotate Your Mattress Annually

Whether you have an innerspring mattress or a memory foam mattress, it’s a good practice to rotate it a few times a year. When you rotate your mattress, it will help to evenly distribute the pressure your body places on it. This will prevent body indentations and mattress sagging, and it will ultimately lengthen your mattress’ lifespan. For maximum results, try to rotate your mattress once every three months.

     2.    Air Out Your Mattress Weekly

Due to body heat and perspiration, your bed can become quite humid. Over time, that humidity can attract dust mites, bacteria, and other allergens. The easiest way to keep your mattress fresh and dry is to air it out as often as possible. Airing out your mattress involves removing all your bedding and allowing your mattress to breathe. If possible, open up any blinds or curtains in your bedroom and expose your mattress to direct sunlight, which will help to further reduce moisture. Aim to air out your mattress at least once a week, or as often as time allows.

     3.    Use a Mattress Cover

One of the easiest ways to protect your mattress is to purchase a mattress cover. Mattress covers are exceptionally affordable—you can buy one for as little as $10—and they keep your mattress shielded from a variety of pesky allergens, including dust mites, mold, and dead skin.
They also create a waterproof barrier around your bed, which will prevent any unexpected spills from turning disastrous.

     4.    No Jumping on the Bed!

It should come as no surprise that jumping on your bed is bad for your mattress. Not only that, but basically any type of extreme force or pressure placed upon your mattress could have damaging results. Roughhousing on a mattress can cause damage to mattress springs or it can cause your mattress to become permanently misshapen. Just be sure to always use your mattress for what it was made for—sleeping.
